Liquor stores?

I stopped by a Majestic store for some Sam Adams last night. Their parking lot always made me a little nervous.
I have had it in my mind that liquor stores were off-limits for CHL carrying.
Re-reading the rules all I see is the "Consumption of alcohol" 51% places.
So I can carry in a liquor store?

That's good to know. I know I did not see any kind of signs around the doors.
Might cause me to drink more beer, though

w/o 30.06, good in Tejas anyway. Some other states prohibit even if sold in places such as Wally World and c-stores ...

You should see some signs warning about unlicensed carry, and consumption on the premises. Those don't affect legal concealed carry, though.

Simple solution: don't drink. *grins*
Well, okay, that works for me, anyway. I have, however, been to Majestic before. Huge parking lot with few lights...right off a big highway...not the sort of place that I go out of my way to be.

Dh & I don't drink often; its usually wine with dinner for anniversary or something similar.
However, I have a problem finding myself in stores, and therefore their parking lots, at night.
I really need to find a way to streamline my errands and schedule my afternoons where I'm not out after dark.
Ex: I tutor 2 boys in my house on Tues & Thr. This evening after they left, I did some laundry, then remembered to get my Rx and a few other items from the pharmacy. GRRRR.
I guess I need to leave work soon enough to get my errands finished before the boys arrive, but that would require
discipline on my part.

A great solution, well said. And when you're in those big parking lots, use your eyes to scan
as far as you can see to look for danger. If something looks suspicious, it usually is. And welcome!

If you already like Sam Adams, then you will love German and Belgium beer.

German and Belgian beers vary widely, from very mild, to very strong; very pale, to very
very dark; and very sweet to very hoppy.
A the moment, I'm drinking a Newcastle Brown Ale. Sam Adams drinkers would enjoy it; very hoppy and flavorful.
I can't get my very favorite beer in this part of the world: Maisel's Hefeweizen. I can get Weihenstephan and Franziskanner Hefes, but not Maisel's.

Some Belgian beers or ales have name that translate to "death's head" or "drop dead." They have a strange sense of humor.
