Gift certificates. Ugh.

So this past Christmas and my birthday(12/29) I was blessed with many gift cards to gander, academy, lowes and my local gun store. So here's my problem. If you can call it one lol. I got four $50 gift cards to the local gun store. I've spent $150(night sights and ammo for my G27) so I'm left with $50 and have no idea what I "need". I find myself walking and just looking for something to buy. My brother says to just put it towards another gun but I'm pretty sure my wife would use it on me since I've bought three within the past six months. One within the past 45 days. Any ideas guys? I know I know I could donate to one of you but come on. Lol.

Get a nice concealed carry holster. Maybe a range bag? Heck... I know I could find something in a gun store to spend money on...LOL. How about a spare magazine?

Magazines are always nice, electronic hearing protection is alsways nice, ammo is always in short supply if your like me (Very little of It ever makes it home), I will admit that I have a hard time walking away from grips/stocks for my handguns, cleaning supplies are always in demand, new (undamaged) eye protection comes in highly recommended, I personally think everyone should have an assortment of snap caps for training use, put it towards a good sling, or maybe a belt, and so on.

That pretty much sums it up.

Got a galco belt and a nice iwb leather holster also for Christmas. Loaded 1000 rounds the other day and just bought 1450 more .40 brass. May go for the electronic ears. Pretty good idea! Thanks!

Get another Glock. It is hard for most non-gun folks to tell them apart, so there's a good chance your wife won't notice.

As I've grown older, my list of "needs" is almost non-existent. At the same time, my list of "wants" has shrunk as well. I find myself walking through outdoor stores and gun shows thinking "nice, but I already have one like that", or "that's cool, but when would I really use it?".
Put it in your pocket. You may come across something new in the coming months, or something you really want might come up.
It doesn't have to burn a hole in your pocket.....
Peace.

This is easy:
You: "Sweety-pie, I want to give you all of my extra gift certificates, so you can buy something nice for yourself...I have everything I could ever want and more..."
Her: "I could never take your gift certificates from you, Sugarbear...I know how much they mean to you. But to reward the gesture, I give you permission to buy another handgun!"
See how easy that was!!!...

If you simply can't think of anything else you need you can sell it for cash.
There are websites that will buy it for a slight discount.

crossfire has a good recommendation. Ammo. It is like trading the certificate in for cash.... heck... better... gold.

I have ammo in my stash that I bought 25%-30% cheaper than it sells for today. That is only about a three year period. Heck... I have .380 I paid 8.50 a box, for...Federal red box... not the cheap stuff. What is that??? A 100% gain in value??? Pretty funny when you think about it.

The only problem I have with buying ammo is that I doesn't last long enough with me to see a hike in the prices. I try to shoot weekly.
