Do you guys find the RTF frame glocks too grippy? I have a gen 3 19 and I really like shooting it, but it sure snags my clothes. Do you guys have any suggestions for some grips? Thanks

It wore a hole in two if my shirts. My answer was sending it it coldbore and they did great work.

I ended up getting rid of my RTF G17 for the same reason. Felt great in the hand. Tore the heck out of my shirts. And seemed to always ride up and hang.
I was planning to either (a) swap it for an older (NON-RTF) model, or have Grip Reductions grind down the texturing...but I swapped it with a buddy for an XD that Grip Reductions had already worked on (my daughter loves that gun, and it's her IDPA gun).
I really think a little work by one of the Glock modifiers can make a difference. My game plan was to knock some of the sharp stuff down without making it completely smooth...just enough that it wasn't like Velcro on a shirt!

This was a frequent complaint of the RTF texture, which is why Glock modified the texture with the Gen4 (sometimes called RTF2). I have no complaints about the next texture with my shirts...seems to work fine without wearing them or catching (my main carry is a G23 Gen4).

Great job and fast turn around.

My G17 RTF2 certainly is too "rough" for my carry-tastes. That's why I shoot IDPA with it, and carry a G26.

I will certainly check out that coldbore. I would hate to have to trade this gun, as it barely lost its copper lubricant from the factory.

I did not like the feel of my FN 5.7, but was afraid to get rid of it because I like shooting. Lane did an excellent pattern on it and I would trade for anything- well all most anything.
