RANGE REPORT: DPMS LR308 (AR10)

Just got a new DPMS LR308 and took it out for it's maiden voyage (pics will be coming later tonight). All I wanted to check on her tonight was that she would eat ammo OK and was accurate. Check and check.
I was quite suprised at how mild the recoil was in this weapon. It only seemed to have slightly more recoil than the typical AR15. Getting back on target was a breeze while rapid firing 4-5 rounds at a time. The trigger reset is amazing on this gun. You could actually hear the click with hearing protection on and you couldn't help but feel it. After the first shot, I thought something had broken when I felt/heard it.
The only negative that came out of the trip was a small burr on the charging handle (sorry about the cut gwashorn). Only put fourty rounds through it tonight, gonna save the real shooting for after I mount some after market gizmos on it.
ETA, I tried all I could to find the burr that got gwashorn, but I can't find a burr anywhere.
Overall, I would have to give DPMS an A- for their AR10.
