The only time I have a problem with mine is when I use lake city brass and I didn't get enough of the crimp out (got the rcbs swagger kit for Christmas so don't have to worry about that now) and when I load .40 s&w something with the case feeder tubes that cause the cases to get stuck to each other and the flip out of alignment sometimes. Other than that I love my 1000 and think it was a great value for me. My setup has paid itself off 2 times over in my first year of owning it.

The ATK product manager who made the design decision to use small primers in .45 ACP has Dante's 7th circle of hell reserved. Glad you got it working.

It went well. It was a lot like an IDPA shoot with relaxed rules. However, the procedurals were severe- 10 seconds for each one (miss, FTN, shooting out of order, etc.). I used my friend's full-size M&P 45 and it much like mine. But it had a lighter trigger and a front fiber-optic sight. Now to clean it...
