I bought this bike about two years ago and have recently aquired another, larger, bike and have to get rid of one. I used this bike for mainly riding to a little bit of fun weekend riding. I put a lot of work into it and whoever gets it is getting a super relliable bike that gets great milleage. Also it's very fun to ride. I'd like to have two but I just don't have room in the garage.
It is a 1993 Honda VT600 with 10,850 Miles on it. Never crashed or layed down.
2010:
New Fuel Pump
New Fuel Pump Relay
Front Forks Rebuilt to Replace Seals
New Chain and Front and Rear Sprocket
K&N Air Filter
Exhaust Baffles Removed
Inside of gas tank was stripped and coated
2011:
Seat Recovered
New Tires
Will Include new oil filter, Haynes shop manual, and replacement oil change washers. Oil has been changed religously since I've owned it.
The paint and chrome is in good shape but does have a couple of blemishes here and there. It is super reliable. Never had any issues starting, running, shifting or stopping. I have put almost 5000 miles on it in the last two years with no mechanical issues.
Youtube video from July 2010 when I removed the exhaust baffles. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1s6P4szBPFE" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Pics attached.
I'd like to trade for an AR-10 or a rifle built for long range. However I'm open to any and all trades I see similar bikes going on Craigslist for $2000 without as much work as I've put into this one. I really need the garage space so I'm willing to value this one for $1750. If you have a firearm you're not shooting and have always wanted a bike here is your chance! As I said I'm open to any and all reasonable equal value firearms. Just PM me or email me and we'll discuss.
The obligatory dancing bananna that gets things sold for me fast on TX CHL Fourm!
