Who carries a revolver?

Reading another post here got my curiosity up.
And I wondered how many people here carry revolvers? This will be a new carry for me, but I've been researching it a bit.
How often do you carry the revolver?

All the time. 2 1/2" K-frame. Six for sure, my friend.

I'm thinking you should have separated the "size" options from the "how often" options.

Agree w/ quidni.
Different needs mean different carry weapon too.
Sunday carry is j-frame Taurus 85.
Fall & winter carry is K-frame Smith.
Both will be less than 50% of the time.
If I find a GP100 w/ a 3"barrel that may go to primary.
I am returning to my roots I guess. JLaw is the one that started me on this.

Occasionally I carry a Rossi 720 44 special. For some reason, I really like that caliber. However it is only a 5 shot which I don't really feel comfortable with. So normally I just carry it around the house after work.

Y'all are right. I should have seperated them.

I don't understand. The poll is asking two different questions but only allowing one answer.
1) what kind of revolver do you carry?
2) How often do you carry it?
To answer both, I carry a Colt Official Police (which is a tad larger than a K frame) about 75% of the time and a Colt Detective Special probably about 15% of the time. 10% I carry a semi auto Sig 226 or a SA 1911A1
why not restart with 2 different polls?

S&W 340 about 95% of the time.
Methinks a realistic poll would show that some type of j-frame is likely the most common handgun out there - at least for those CHLers who do actually carry on their person on a daily basis.

Sundays and Wednesdays are 90% of the time 340PD only. The rest of the time is the S&W and mostly 1911 or HK P7.

Hello. My 24/7 gun is a pre-lock S&W Model 642. It is carried in a stained, well-used Galco pocket holster. When I feel the need, there will be a more substantial handgun in a belt holster, but the J-frame remains there in the role of a BUG.
Best.

I suppose 0% is "less than 50%".
There must be a trick in cleaning them. I needed to spend a lot more time cleaning a revolver than a semiauto; finally decided they weren't worth the trouble.
Every now and then, I've come close to buying one... then I quickly came to my senses.

Once in a while I'll grab up the SP-101 for a short jaunt into town.
Mode of carry is the same though.
It sure is light and comfortable.

642 90% of time - sp101 and taurus 650 the rest of the time.
