I am starting my thread late because I just found this site. Wish I had known about it all along. Some really good info here.
Anyway, here is my timeline. It's actually pretty short to be honest:
3/9/2012 Online Application Completed
3/10/2012 CHL Class
3/12/2012 Fingerprints at L-1
3/13/2012 Mailed Package to DPS
3/15/2012 DPS recieved Package
3/22/2012 First Status Change , Background check pending
4/9/2012 Maufacture Pending
4/10/2012 Manufacturing
I'm feeling pretty lucky.

Just went to Mailed this morning. If it gets here by Friday, that will be 1 month from my doorstep to my doorstep. Now I just gotta hope my Hidden Hybrid holster gets here soon.

Well, the last day of the mail week has come and gone with no plastic for me.
But on the bright side, my Hidden Hybrid shipped and is tracking well. I might just get them both on the same day.

Mailman has come and gone with no sign of the promised land. I feel like I'm watching a pot of water. I've already got my Walmart picked out - very shady place.

I'm a dummy. I forgot that I had it sent to my mother-in-law's house. Apparently I have been legal since Saturday and didn't know it. Oh, well. PLASTIC IN HAND. Wally World here I come.
32 days door to door.
34 to get it in my wallet.

Yep. There was initial joy...then, "What the...?", followed by, "I can't believe I...", and finally, "Whatever, IT'S HERE, IT'S HERE, IT'S HERE, IT'S HERE, IT'S HERE"
Was a good time. And my Hidden Hybrid arrived today, so I'm ready for the trial run. All dressed up and nowhere to go.
