I am going to a show there soon & haven't been able to find out whether or not concealed carry is allowed? I am pretty sure that alcohol will be served & there are some laws In Lousisiana against conceal carry in places that serve alcohol, but I am not a lawyer. Does anybody know if it would be legal to carry inside there?

...I told their event scheduling person "Oh, that's OK, we'll just find another place to stage our event..." that's about the worst we can hurt them is to make them fear losing money...

I called & spoke with one of the security guys there. He said that guns & knives aren't allowed. They could either do pat-downs or metal detecting wands. Obviously a pistol will set off the wand, but a pocket knife could pass.

...if I was gonna go to the trouble to get a passport and go all the way to Bossier, I sure wouldn't let a pocketknife keep me from using the ticket I bought...have a good time...

it's only an hour drive from my house. No passport needed :) And I'm 99% sure they won't find anything on me ;)

wow, really strict security...
I got wanded around my belt line. An ankle or shoulder rig would have been enough to get anything in. I only risked a pocketknife that wasn't found. The keys in my pocket didn't even trigger it.
