Free Advice - Do not do business with TGSCOM

I placed an order with TGSCOM (The Gun Source) over a month ago.
They charged my credit card immediately.
Their company policy is not to charge for items that are back-ordered.
I still do not have the items I paid for.
When I contacted them, they confirmed that they had not shipped the items, nor did they have any idea when they would have them to ship.
They claim that this is not a back-order situation.
(And I claim to be the King of England)
They have since credited my credit card, but will not offer any compensation for the interest free loan they received from me.

I will not do business with TGSCOM ever again.

Take this into account before you do.

That sucks. You should be able to do a chargeback with your credit card company.

I am not defending TGSCOM but thought I would share a similar incident.

A while back, I ordered a pistol from a company that I knew they did not have the pistol in stock. However, they were willing to sell it at a price I was willing to pay even if I had to wait a little extra to get the pistol. They too said I would not be charged until the pistol was shipped. When I ordered the pistol, a temporary transaction did show up on my credit card, a pending status. Of course it reduced available credit on the card. After a couple of days the pending charge disappeared. I think it was similar to when you purchase gas at a gas station or other similar charges. There was no transaction of charge and no transaction of a refund, a temporary pending check of available credit I guess. That was my case.
