I'm only been carrying for a month or so, but I thought I'd share my thoughts on my two holsters for my LC9. I bought a Galco Stinger OWB for $57 and a Remora for $20-something.

The Galco is a very nice looking holster, fits high on my belt, and holds the pistol tightly. However, I don't feel like it's at all concealed under a cover shirt. When I lift my arms up, it's definitely not concealed. It is easy to draw from and re-holster.

I didn't believe for a second that the Remora would stay in place. Color me amazed. Wearing it just behind my right hip, or a little back from there, that thing doesn't move an inch. I've worn it with cargo shorts and jeans of varying looseness and it stays in place without a belt. It's easy to draw from, but not to re-holster.

I've been wearing the Remora a lot more than the Galco and I think it's going to stay that way. It's just more comfortable and I can shift it around if I need to. It's also a lot easier to take off if you find yourself having to disarm and leave it in the car because of a 30.06 sign.

Good question. It's tha 4ART.

The Remoras are surprisingly good holsters for their price. I include one with every concealable pistol I sell. They'll never be as good as a Crossbreed, etc., but they definitely do the job.

I was surprised how good. I'm carrying my Glock in one right now. When I ordered the Remora, I was worried that it would move around too much or slide down my pants, but that hasn't happened. (I planned to use it as a pocket holster if it did, so no big loss.) I also got it about a week after I ordered it, so that's a lot better than the big name guys.

Remora is not perfect for every situation but I think it's worth having in my box of tricks.

I ordered a Remora last week and got it yesterday. I am really impressed with this holster, it stays in place, doesn't move while running, jumping. After wearing for a while you don't even realize that you have it on.

For the record I bought a Remora tuckable holster.

I carry my g19 in a Remora Holster. I find it to be very comfortable but what I liked most about it is that it is comfortable no matter what I wear. I can wear it with jeans or with my board shorts. Good choice!

Most everyone I know who has had a CHL for a while has a drawer full of holsters, the number of holsters directly proportional to the number of years he has had his CHL. I think that is a contagious disease a CHL gives you.

I have disposed of everything in my drawer full of holsters since I acquired my Remoras.

Your mileage may vary, but I say yes, that good. I don't feel even the slightest need to look for another holster. The remora is easy to move when you want, but stays put like glue. For the way I dress, its more comfortable, and, for a newbie, I don't feel exposed with it on.

Their holsters look good, but their website could use a revamp.

Yep. I went through a bunch of different holster. Galco, Crossbreed, even a few custom holster. I have since sold them. I'm just going to stick with Remora.
