Pardon my ignorance, but I'm new to all of this. I have my CHL, and have had a Glock 23 (Gen 4) since the early part of this year. Always being one to look for a bargin, I've been looking on eBay for "deals" on magazines (and other add-ons). I've noticed that it seems all of the magazines on eBay for my 23 are 10 round magazines. Doing a little research, I'm sure this is, at least in part, because of the AWB that has since expired. My Glock came with 13 round magazines. I've also seen 13 round magazines at some of the local retailers, so it makes me wonder, is there some sort of regulation about selling the higher capacity magazines online?

Nope. Only an issue if you live in a state with capacity restrictions. You thought about getting a couple G22 mags for backup/range? Will hang out a little but ups the capacity a little. Plus G22 mags are cheap. Usually can find deals from cop trade ins and whatnot.

I would also go with the 15 round mags for spares. I did for years when I carried a G27. As for the 13 rounders for the G23, there may not be anyone selling them and that's why you can't find any.

BTW, where are you located? I have five 15 rounders that I could sell you $15 each that I don't need any more.

Ebay has strange restrictions on firearm parts due to their inherently anti-gun policy. They do not allow high capacity magazines per the rules. Thus I would look else where for gun parts. Personally I use Midway, Brownells, and firearm manufacturers for sources of magazines.

I'm in the DFW area. Just bought a couple holsters, and yesterday spent $100+ on rounds for the next range trip, so I'm tapped out on "fun money" for the next couple weeks. If you still have them in 2 weeks, I'm definitely interested.

OK, a policy like that would explain a lot. Thought maybe I'd somehow stumbled into some "not allowed" thing.

CDNN usually has some good deals on mags. I have personally had some really good luck with the Korean Glock mags. Other than having to trim a little excess flashing off the mag lips, they have been good to go. Factory mags stay in the pistol for carry, but the Korean mags are serviceable for range use, and a whole lot cheaper

From my limited experience on here - shouldn't that be gunMAGAZINES.com? :)

...sometimes you have to drop yer BB to get along...or to buy a magazine at a good price...being correct don't mean yer right...
