It's summer and everyone is probably outside enjoying the weather...either that or working their butts off.

If you need to get the data try this:

Put the drive in a ziplock bag and freeze the drive overnight, then slave it as a secondary to a good drive and move the data if it comes up. Not a guarantee...but if you need the data, what could it hurt? Ive seen it work on more than one occasion.

I did try the freezer trick last week and it didn't help. Bios could not see it. I could not get 3 other computers to see it either. I only lost a month worth of data as i has stuff on dvd. Still sucks.

I would have shot the drive up a bit, but it was still under warrenty (by like 2 weeks), so I sent it back to get a replacement for it. :?

Yes, it si a little hot to go out, right now. I am cleaning a new purchase, a used S & W 6906 9mm., great gun, will use it as a winter carry. Going to CTD later today and get a new grip and then will hit the range tomorrow before it gets hot....

I went to an outdoor range yesterday. It was hot, but not as bad as it was last week.

I was there testing out my new trigger job from Canyon Creek.

I like it, but it will take a bit of getting used to.
