I would like a holster that can be taken on and off pretty easy but retains tension. A tuckable C clip AIWB is what I want. But can't seem to find something I like except maybe the fobus IWB anyone tried it?

The cant doesn't matter so long as it doesn't ride low and move around

Comp-Tac is my source for most of my holsters needs. They have something like you describe.

My quest for holsters finally stopped at Comp-Tac.

I've used their C-clips. They work well if you have a 1.5 inch gunbelt.

I guess I will be a little more descriptive or stop being so picky. Sometimes I carry my Glock 27 in an Uncle Mikes holster which has NO retention but can be moved in a few positions easily or taken it off in seconds. It is also very small and very basic.


I was looking at a tuck-this-2 or comp-tacs "2 o clock" but they have a J hook and I changed my mind from J hooks to C hooks a few months ago.

Have you looked at the Remora holster?

I like the Remora and have two but I think it's a poor choice if your lifestyle and wardrobe require a tuckable holster to conceal.

I bought a tuckable Remora and couldn't be happier with it. Since I am some what skinny 5-10" 160lbs I always tuck my shirt in and have no issues with my tuckable Remora.

+1 for Comp-Tac. They use both J and C clips.

You might look at PJ holsters... I haven't used his tuckable (yet) but, I can say his standard IWB is simple, comfortable and affordable.... and wait times are under two weeks. He'll also tailor the cant to your liking. Mine come off or go on in 2-4 seconds (w/o looking) once you get used to it. Well i have settled on a holster to do what I am wanting. the MTAC will be purchased in the next little bit but I just needed a single C clip for a decent price. I am settling on desantis sof-tuk. I have not ready anything bad about it. I would go with a Tuk-this II because I have read even better things but really this wasn't going to be a "main" holster. I was also looking to buy a cheap black leather belt which I found and posted in the holster thread but everyone is out of stock.

FWIW.... I carry an HK P2000SK AIWB every day. My favorite AIWB holster is, by far, a CCC Shaggy. Unfortunately for you, he's very backlogged and not taking new orders. Check out those threads and you'll find lots of things you might want to try before the MTAC or Tuk This...

If I was looking for kydex and needed one quickly, I'd be looking at the JM Custom Kydex.

My favorite "stick it in your pants and go" C-clip holster is the tuckable High Noon Mr. Softy. The C-clip is excellent on this thing. One caveat... The Mr. Softy rides very low. The front of the grip rides ON my belt. They make a high ride version called "Upper Cut". I tried it and it really didn't work for my short muzzle gun. The gun kept wanting to rotate away from my body without enough muzzle below the belt to keep it stable. If you carry a longer muzzle gun, it might work better for you. The Mr. Softy is less than $40 delivered and they're not molded so they have them in stock for fast shipping. Takes a few days for the softer leather to mold to your gun. I've used mine frequently for about 2 years and it's held up well.
