Dropped all the paperwork in the mail today and actually excited that I've finally reached this milestone. I'm not sure who is more excited, my husband or me!

Actually, if I spend this time reading everything in the forum the time should pass rather quickly.

The wait begins, took 17 days for the DPS to acknowledge (update status) that they had received my packet.

Background Check : Under review - finally!

I don't think I have much of a background (not even a traffic ticket)...knock on wood!) so hopefully it won't take long.

Me too. I've almost saved enough for the membership. I've been driving to Bullet Trap or Elm Fork so I'm excited.
