How long does it take, between state's receipt/acknowledge?

Hi, Folks!
I submitted my initial paperwork last Wednesday {did the online paperwork the weekend before}; when I just checked the status, all that was indicated was my online application - they are "awaiting" my hard-copy info. I KNOW the USPS has some issues, but shouldn't the paperwork BE there? I live 30 miles outside Houston ........................

Two weeks for me. I have heard from two people this month that had notice of receipt within a week.

For me the whole process took 7 weeks to the day after taking my CHL class. It took about 2 weeks from when I mailed until the website updated, several weeks for the background check. About 2 days after it got to chl manufacture pending and about a week after it said chl mailed until I received it.

It will be a few weeks. Kick back. Relax. Enjoy the Summer. The plastic will come before you know it.

IDK. I sent my renewal in about 6 weeks before my birthday and never checked. I started to get nervous about 4 days before my birthday (before my current license expired) and then it showed up the day before my birthday. Whew!
