Can't wait to go break her in fella's
She's still a virgn. Just got it last week.
Been too busy to get to a range.

But lots of folks refer other manufactures as an AR.

I read about Colts CM901 today and that looks pretty nice.
Modular platform allowing you to swap uppers and blast away with .223, 6.8, 7.62x39 and x51

I wondered if that was going to come up.
Yes, Armalite holds the rights to the name "AR-10".
However, like Kleenex and Bandaid, the name has entered colloquial use for an AR style rifle chambered in .308.
So it may not be legally correct for anything but an Armalite rifle to be called an AR-10, I guarantee you'll never get folks (including me) to stop calling that type of rifle an AR-10.
