Does anyone know where I could pick these up locally in the DFW area? Preferably around Arlington. I started to order some online until I saw the hazmat fee. Either Remington, Fiocchi, or Rio
Thanks

Not sure about that area, but the academys in Houston area have them. It's the only primers they stock and not real sure on the price, been a while since I bought shotgun primers or even priced them.

I know it's none of my business, but why do you need 209 of them? Aren't reloading supplies usually bought in nice round numbers?

209 is the primer type, not the number of primers.
Like saying "LP Large Pistol", or "SR Small Rifle".

I wasn't sure if Dave was trying to be funny or not. But if you now want to know why 209 type primers. I'm gonna be shooting wax bullets and the 209 primers are flat and not domed so they will come out of the shell easier after you fire them.

Ok, like in a 38 sp or 45 colt bullet ?
I made some a long time ago if this is what your talking about.
Turned my drill press into a lathe (kinda) drilled out some 38 sp's to take 209's and wax...worked ok, but next time I'm going to buy them already made
It's a lot easier.
I don't live out you way, but doesn't Cheaper Than Dirt sell them?
Don't know how far that is from you?

I was, but that doesn't mean I know what they are.

They probably do. It isn't a horrible drive just didn't want to drive it if I didn't have to. If they don't a friend told me that Cabelas does.
