After reading many recommendations for Primary Arms as a source of budget optics that are actually worth buying, I picked up their micro red dot sight and a riser for my AR. Since their storefront is in Pearland, I went ahead and picked it up instead of having it shipped.

The staff is very friendly and courteous. Mike (the guy behind the counter) was very helpful, and we spent about half an hour discussing various AR and AK parts and accessories.

The micro red dot is a very nice optic, with a removeable base and killflash. It weighs in at 4 oz. and is half the size of an Aimpoint CompM4. The dot is crisp and the glass is clear. Controls are very positive and easy to manipulate. This will do temorary duty on my AR, and then move to the AK I have on order in a few months when I pick up an Eotech.

All in all, everything with Primary Arms was a great experience, and I urge you guys to check them out!

Good to hear. I think that they put out a very viable and usable optic for the majority of AR owners.

I would agree. However, they also carry optics from several other manufacturers, as well as a ton of other AR/AK parts and accerssories, firearms, and now even suppressors. All of which they have at very competitive prices.

+1 Everytime i go there, i end up spending an hour there chatting with the employees and learning more about AR15s. I have to force myself not to go there so much because i always end up buying something

I bought a used .308 from the owner, and wound up getting a scope, bipod, and case from P.A. as well. Very positive experience.

ive had one of their m4 clones for about a year now, been very happy with it.

Yes, they are a bunch of great guys. I went there looking for a magnifier and they install everything they had on my AR to let me see the differences. First class!

Primary Arms has never done me wrong. I'm only changing out my Micro Dot because I can finally afford an Aimpoint Pro... the micro is going onto a .22 practice rife

good deal on that pro today at officerstore for 360 shipped, i broke down and ordered one. probably means selling my xps2 now.

The primary arms sits on my .22 currently its great on the plinker for the price it cost.

Let me know what you want for that XPS2. I want one, but I will probably have to wait a couple of months to buy it.
