Its illegal t not own a single action revolver if you own a lever action rifle?
Well, it should be anyway.
I have a Marlin 1894 (Pre-Remington) in .357 and I absolutely love the gun. Light and handy.....not to mention a great looking gun.
It is also the only gun I own my wife actually enjoys shooting, so it is loaded up and in the bedroom as her home defense gun.
I've been looking for a SA Revolver to pair with it, and finally found a used one that I'm picking up next weekend.
Ruger Blackhawk in .357 with a 6 1/2" barrel. Its also got the 9mm cylinder if I feel like shooting those, which is nice.
Don't have pictures of it, but here's a stock photo of the gun I'm talking about:
Picking it up next weekend, range report to follow week after, along with gratuitous amounts of lever action/single action pictures.

Cool, I love the convertable Rugers. I have a Convertable New Vaquero in .45 (Colt and ACP) and love it. I don't have a lever action rifle that I shoot regularly but the new Vaquero does see the range pretty regular. I will say that I do take a levergun to the range relatively frequently, but its not a rifle...

I have a couple Ruger single actions and absolutely love them. Come to think of it, I have a blued SSS 22/22mag that pairs nicely with my '94 30/30 and a stainless SSS in .32 mag with a birdshead frame that goes good with my Marlin 308STD trapper....maybe it's an unspoken law.

I have a number of lever guns and also SA Rugers.
I'd like to have a .357 Blackhawk, just haven't stumbed onto the right deal.
But I did find a mint Single Six in .32 S&W Long a while back. Almost as good.

Would if you have 2 levers but only 1 SA revolver? Is this ok, or do I need to go out and pick up another SA revolver?

Sounds like you need another to me! But then I don't hav any trouble finding excuses for needing a new gun.

Well, I have Henry Golden Boy in .44 magnum and a Ruger Redhawk in .44 magnum. That's close enough for me.

Fair enough. I should have specified "a lever action rifle in a pistol caliber".

Picked it up this morning! It was as advertised. Guy claims its only had 20 rounds of .357 through it, and the 9mm cylinder has never been used. Came with palm swell eagle grips. Not sure if I'm going to leave the eagle grips on or go back to stock. I'll probably shoot it with both then Decide.
