I've started collecting old military revolvers from various countries. So far I have acquired the 3 below:

Top Left: French Mle (model) 1892 St. Etienne 8mm (erroneously called Lebel revolver by many) dated 1922.
Top Right: British Enfield No.2 Mk1** 38 S&W/200 dated 1943
Bottom: Russian Model 1895 Nagant 7.62x38R dated 1940 (Tula Arsenal)

Currently looking at some Swiss Model 1882s in 7.5mm Swiss (impossible to find ammo though)

If anyone is into this genre and has any suggestions on neat old military revolvers to collect, or has any to sell of trade, please let me know. When my 8mm ammo arrives (Nearly impossible to find these days) I'm taking all 3 to the range for some test firing.

I'd want to add the M1917 to the collection.

Cool though! I've heard the double action on those nagant revolvers is insane. And I've always liked how the British military revolvers looked.

When you and I were "yoots", Shotgun News had war surplus firearms by the truckload very cheap.
You remember those days?

When this "little Yankee boy" grew up in NYC, the "yoots" were into other things besides guns. Lemme see, I think it was girls, and...um.. girls, and oh yeah and Stickball, and street football, basketball, and um, girls, and of course Rock n' Roll ;-) Oh yeah, I can only dream about the prices in shotgun News back then now.

My wife likes the new stuff, but really likes the old Navy Colts. I'm sure I'll find a nice set for a birthday sometime for her. There was a set over at the Bullet Trap 3-5 years ago, but I couldn't afford them at the time.
