The End is Near ....

On Friday, my application went to Background Check: Complete and Concealed Handgun License : Manufacturing pending.
On Saturday, Concealed Handgun License went to just Manufacturing.
Hopefully I will receive plastic late this week/early next week!!!

I guess I'll be a long waiter. Some of you have your plastic and I sent my package in before you. I would have mailed it sooner but I had a death in my family so I had to travel home. But I still put it in before some of you I see and you are still getting yours back quicker.
Darn background check. I only served in the military for 25 years with very high security clearance. Other than a couple of speeding tickets some years ago, nothing else to report. I've even carried in other states. It must be the moving around.
But I know it'll happen eventually.

- CHL Class – 10 June 12
- Fingerprints – 12 June 12
- Package of additional items mailed – 20 June 12
- Package delivered to TxDPS – 21 June 12
- Status change reflecting additional items received and processing – 3 July 12

• DL or ID : Valid
• Citizenship : No documentation required
• Passport photo holder : Received
• Photo : Received
• Proof of Classroom training : Received
• Proof of Proficiency training : Received
• Proof of Special Condition : Received

• Background Check : Under review
• Concealed Handgun License : Print pending completion of application review

Used my CHL on Friday to pick up my new carry weapon - Sig P239.
