My wife ordered me a crossbreed for my birthday in may and I'm still waiting. Anyone else have a long wait? Also, if you have a crossbreed, does it carry well appendix or better set between 4 and 5 o clock?

my Crossbreeds took about 4 weeks to arrive.
I have not tried appendix carry, but for IWB I prefer about 4-4:30 and OWB 3-3:30.

The crosbreed types are great for strong-side carry, and delivery time takes a while.
If you are looking to carry appendix, which I do frequently, you will find there are better options. The crossbreed style is just too.... big (not size, just space) to carry appendix. Look at Remora --I use it a LOT, blackhawk, WRB, etc. They all make holsters more adapted to appendix. You are looking for a minimalist holster....thin, not bulky, and straight drop.

Thanks. I figured it would be too much holster, just curious. I generally care strong side just behind the hip (4:00ish), but have recently tried appendix ( lost a few pounds) and I like tha too. Once again thanks for the feedback in both posts.

The first one I ordered three years ago, took a good 4 weeks to arrive if I remember correctly. I just ordered another as a birthday present for my brother last month and I got it in about a week. I was surprised how fast it came in. It was for the M&P Shield and I am guessing that they made some and had them sitting on the shelf, because I don't think they could have turned the order that fast otherwise.
The holsters are worth the wait. They are the only brand I buy anymore.

My crossbreed did not work well for ME for appendix carry.
If you have a small gun (mini 9mm, .380) MAYBE... Depends on a lot of other factors.
IMO, CBST is not a good appendix holster.
I carry appendix (95%) unless I'm carrying OWB.

Just another voice confirming what everyone else has said... they can take a long time to arrive and although they are great holsters, they aren't well-suited for appendix carry. The good news is that they are quality holsters that are comfortable and hold your firearm very securely.
I have ordered two... I think I waited 4 weeks for one, and 5 for the other.
I carry at 4:00 and have absolutely no complaints wearing my .45 all day long... but if I was going to appendix carry, I'd look for something else.

My CB only took a week to get here but maybe it was because of the gun I ordered it for - a 1911. I don't know if that had any affect but I would think some of the more popular styles would be in stock. Mine works best at 4:00 but my dad wears his at 6:00. It wasn't my favorite holster when I first got it but once the leather wears in, gets soft, and forms to your body, you won't regret it.

I ordered a mini tuck for LCP and super tuck for a Glock 36 on 7/12 and it was in my mailbox by 7/23. It took 11 days for that order.
I also have a couple more on the way for a shield and xd-s.

I've ordered three Crossbreeds recently and all have taken less than two weeks from the order to my mailbox.

I have been thinking about the crossbreed, how does the finish of your weapon hold up with this type holster?

The wear on the guns hasn't been bad at all.
