Jerry Patterson has announced that he's running for Lt. Gov in 2014.

AUSTIN, Texas — Texas Land Commission Jerry Patterson says he'll run for lieutenant governor in 2014.
Patterson, a Republican, is a former state legislator who has led the Texas General Land Office since 2002.

Bringing this up after a month, but my GOP HQ has "Patterson '14" bumper stickers already.

I'll vote for Patterson on any ballot he shows up on, and I'll help with his campaign when I can.

Too bad he's not running this year. Maybe Jerry Patterson can finally help us push through campus carry where the current Gov and Lt Gov failed.

If I still voted in Texas I would vote for him. As a land surveyor I have had dealings with his office for years and I like the way he does it.
