Evening y'all!

Any comments on that horrendous movement with the UN Arms Control issue in Washington? Seriously hope those Liberals don't have their way and rape the gun owners and law abiding citizens!

Here is my thoughts......
Gun Control as we know it will warp into high gear and we will eventually end up exactly like the UK.

There is only one way to stop it. And it happens in 59 days.

We MUST stop MaoBama! If re-elected, he will sign the UN treaty (somehow circumventing Congress) and he will also appoint 2 more SCOTUS Judges that will do everything they can to strip us of our liberties.

The Constitution will become "Common Sense Changes".

The current fear of the AWB reinstatement will seem like child's play when we are hit with the BIG WHAMMY!

The treaty is dead for now and the U.N. is in New York. Obama and a Liberal Democrat controlling the Senate were there best chance to get a treaty passed and signed. That shows we are winning in an open battle to restore our rights. However, the battle now isn't in the open but covert things are going on.

Liberals of either party are working to gain support for bans on all guns but mainly for Obama or Romney to nominate and have confirmed an anti-gun SCOTUS judge to tip the balance. So, our battle is to elect Romney and take over the Senate with Conservative pro-gun people. We then have to insure that Romney nominates the most ultra conservative judges that have ever sat the bench since we can no longer count on Roberts. In the same manner we need to get John Bolton back to deal with the U.N. under Romney. We then need to make Romney clean house of all higher level people at the BATFE, DOJ, FBI, Homeland Security, Border Patrol, etc. None of this will be easy with Romney so pressure from letters and phone calls need to start the day he is sworn in if not before. If we get that done the treaty will be dead for another 4 years and we won't have a worry. If Obama is re-elected we will see him sign a treaty by the end of his second term whether it is ratified by the Senate or not because he will no longer have an election to worry about. That is just my opinion.

I was taught in class that a treaty can not override the Constitution, so let them sign it. The treat also is for overseas sales. However, the sheer logistics of trying to collect guns is impossible. Even with 100% LEO and military compliance (never happen) they simply have too much ground to cover and no time to do it.

You completely misunderstand how this is accomplished. Do you really think they would ever go "door-to-door"? Nope, at least not in the foreseeable future. Nope, what they do is to slowly ban TYPES or STYLES of weapons, which is why they want the AWB back so badly. They make it not only ILLEGAL to have such things, but SOCIALLY IMPROPER to have them as well. That is, you may indeed have it in your possession, but can never take it out anywhere in public, can't go to the range with it, can't show it to your family/friends, and can't get it fixed if it ever were to break. Once the first class of weapons is thought of BY THE PUBLIC as being taboo, they move to the next one...look at the UK and Australia for your clues. They get "the vapors" in the UK if someone has a .22 single-shot bolt action, or for that matter, a blank-firing starter pistol. And the public AGREES with this: "WHO NEEDS THOSE DIRTY, ICKY GUNS ANYWAY?"...the Canadians were going that way, and have gone some ways in that direction, but lucky for them, we crazy gun-toters to their south have some big influence on them... Anyway, a treaty is to LEGITIMIZE this business IN THE EYES OF THE PUBLIC...and then their buddies in the press (propaganda wing of the Democrat Socialist Party) will trumpet it to the highest hills about how good a thing that will be, how much "peace and safety" it will bring...and the PUBLIC will lap it up like dogs (no offense to actual dogs). Not to mention, if they are able to curtail imports, then all that does is drive prices up on domestic products...and prices even more folks out of firearms ownership and usage; supply and demand, you know...another notch in the bad guys' belts.
