It was recommended to me to get the sight-mark Holo display sight for my Kash-saiga 12. Short story, that $100 piece of sight is junk, did hold zero, but shut-off after each round.
Returned the low-cost item and grabbed this:
US made: Eotech 512.

Sorry you had to spend more cash than necessary - that's not fun. The S12 seems to be odd about optics - some el cheapos will last on it for quite a while, while others, will whimp out really quick. It must just come down to the build quality of each individual optic. I kept an el cheapo deluxe leapers red/green dot on my S12 for 2 years, and it worked fine (surprisingly enough). I think I'd put a Eotech on mine as well if it weren't for the thickness of the sight body (just personal preference).
I'm sure it'll treat you great!
