We all have our own descriptions of whom and what Bubba is.

I recall an episode of COPS (I think it was Channelview) that had a real Bubba (don’t know if it was his real name) and he worked for Harris County Sheriffs Office. He was big, wore his cowboy hat and even had a donut in his hand and maybe a couple in his stomach and pockets.

And no offence to anyone named Bubba.

I’m not Bubba, but I do qualify for John Madden’s B.U.B.B.A (Brotherhood of United Bad Bodies Association).

I call my brother Bubba, he is tall, thin, college edjucated and has a white collar job. I have called him Bubba since I could utter the word.

Is your brother older than you? I know lots of people called Bubba and it is usually an older brother that is given that nickname.

I hear "Bubba" and I think of a couple of things. One, kind of a big ol' country boy, or Two, Bill Clinton, or Three, someone who has done a butcher job on a firearm, and its all situational, of course.

My brother and sister call me Bubba and my grand kids call me PawPaw. I guess I fit both as an old wore out country boy

To me, from East Texas, it is a name of honor for a close friend.
Or my bestest buddy Tommy, who has his birthday today! Yep, I called Bubba first thing this morning. :)

We call my BIL and one of my twins Bubba. My BIL is my wife's younger brother. College educated, working for an oil company as an evil fracker.

My son we call Bubba is just goofy. That's not the only thing we call him, though.

The only person I ever knew who was called Bubba, did not fit the profile in any way shape or form.

I've heard that everyone knows a Bubba, and Bubba knows everyone.
