So I bought an ATI Talon Tactical Six Position Stock. A.1.10.1141



I ordered it 4 weeks ago!

I got it in about 4 days...but it was missing some parts...like the Triton mount...

They shipped it to me that Monday, I got it the next Friday, 4 days later. I was missing another screw and the single point sling attachment. Told them about it, they said ok we'll send it out. Then I found out when I got that shipment I was still missing a screw. But by this time I did not have plans to go shoot so I let them just send me the screw. Got it last Friday. Now I put it all together today! So after 4 weeks of waiting I finally am able to get it together.

That's nice. Where did you get the stock? How's the recoil pad on it? I have 2 Pardners that I might do this on but want to know more first. Thanks for posting!!!

np, I have yet to try it out. It feels really good. I need to do a through cleaning on the gun as it seems to be a bit hard to rack the slide now. I've got about 100rds through it now.

How do you like the stock?

I have one I picked up because of the pos. reviews online. I found it shot fine without a thorough cleaning, but after a few weeks of it sitting, it seemed harder to operate. I did a full strip down, and cleaned the action, and found they used a pretty thick/heavy grease inside. Used some Hoppes and a toothbrush to scrub down the whole thing, then some lube on all the moving parts to clean it up, made it a much nicer gun to operate.

I left the short stock (OEM) on there, as I find it pretty comfortable, but I did add the Magpul MOE fore end ( http://www.amazon.com/Magpul-MOE-Rem-[abbreviated profanity deleted] ... magpul+870" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; ) made for the 870. I found that it did not want to slide on, as it was about 1 mm smaller in diameter than the factory fore end. I had to sand it down, using a dowel or broom handle with sand paper, just twisting it inside the fore end until it fit nice and tight.

Threw on a Thunder Ranch edition Streamlight TL weapon light, and I was ready to roll. Right now, it is mounted on the left side (thumb operation), but I may change out the rail to get it under the shotgun.

I have yet to shoot it, but I really need to clean like you said you did. So did you take out the trigger assembly and stuff? Does it disassembly like the 870? Be my first time to completely disassemble the shotty.

Yes, it is very similar to a Rem 870, as this is a pretty decent copy of that gun

I did take out the trigger assembly, but did not take it apart. Just dipped the toothbrush in hoppes and scrubbed away on this, then applied oil with a qtip to all the moving parts, and metal on metal. Then used a Rem-Oil wipe to wipe off excess oil (didnt want to wipe it all off, but didnt want it dripping either)

Got to take it apart and do some cleaning. Racks much better now! Now to find time to go and shoot lol
