Buddy Killed Today

A long time friend of mine, and brother-in-arms, was killed this morning by a drunk driver on his way to work. 3 Deployments together, and he never suffered a scratch. Hit by a drunk- Not the way a warrior wants to go out.
Hail Mary, full of grace.
Our Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb,
Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God,
pray for us sinners,
now and at the hour of our death.
Amen.

And, some naive liberal think that guns are evil, existed in the hands of uncivilized people and are designed to kill. They work hard to ban all guns. However, they do enjoy alcohol and most would drive while drunk, killing countless innocents lives. They defend Alcohol consumption as something social and entertaining and as a personal choice, even after being drunk many would drive and kill innocent persons. What closed minded are those people? NO common-sense, they exhibit.

I am sorry for your loss and for that of the remaining family. The carnage and waste of drunk driving will never be justifiable. May God comfort you and the family.
