Anyone know anything about the UN asking all governors to fly the UN flag on UN day, Oct 24th???

I cannot imagine many States going along with a UN appreciation day. In the news today, part of the UN is warning about a Romney election because of their concern about the return of the US to the use of water boarding techniques.
I suspect that, across the country, the one group with a lower approval rating than our Congress is the UN.

I think the UN has the most appropriate acronym of all - it fits them well. UN-equality, UN-fairness, UN-effective, UN-leaders, UN-important,.....
