Caliber.

I know the caliber debate is never ending and somewhat taboo among shooters, but thought I would share this anyway. I love data like this. This guy did his own study of defensive handgun caliber stopping power and the results are relatively close. Much closer than I would have ever thought.

If you are happy with your 9mm, I'm happy for you. If you think that everyone should be carrying a .45 (because they don't make a .46), I'm cool with that too. I'm just reporting the data. If you don't like it, take Mr. Ayoob's advice...do a study of your own.

It's entertaining to collect anecdotes but stopping power studies based on anecdotes are more pseudoscience than science.
