If they ask, I'm using my CHL as an ID, just seems the right thing to do when our rights are on the ropes.

That's if they even ask :grumble.

However, thank you for exercising your right to vote! :patriot:

They will not ask as long as you have your voters registration card. If you do not have your v.r. card, you will need to show i.d., at which point (if I had mine :grumble ), I would use my CHL.

Then I think I may 'not' have mine.

Since 2005, the computer sheet they look on after I give them my Voter's Reg says "ask for Driver's license" so I have to show it every time.... I know why .... it's a bunch of elderly ladies who want to see an 8 year old photo of me to see how I *used to be* handsome.

I ALWAYS give them my passport when they ask.

They almost always say..."don't you have a driver's licence?"

My response is always...."why yes I do, but I want to prove that I am eligible to vote." (you can always tell which party they are by their facial expressions)
