I recommend a SP101 over a J frame for the stability and less felt recoil shooting .357 in a elderly hand/wrist/arm.

:iagree: = 12 rounds

Of course we all know the SP101 is a 5 shot revolver.
But no one makes 5 round speed strips.

I carry 12 spare rounds in a clip on leather cartridge carrier with leather loops. I figure if it was good enough for the Cowboys and early LEO's, it's good enough for me! :smilelol5:

just my opinion, but here it is:

if she can't manipulate a slide, chances are she won't be able to work most DA triggers found on pocket revolvers. my wife is a young, avid work-out-a-holic and has a hard time with her S&W .38 DA pull.

could you possibly take her to a local store/range and let her test her strength on the DA revolvers, then maybe the SA on those with exposed hammers?

Ah Grasshopper, you have not heard about Tuff Products? They make 5 and 6 round Tuff Strips in several colors and calibers even for shotgun. Google Tuff Products for more info. :tiphat:

What about a Beretta 86 (or comparable) with the tip up barrel? You get the benefits of a semi-auto, but never have to rack the slide.

The Luger is no easier to rack than most other semi autos. Plus, there are few shooters on the market collectors have gobbled all the good ones up.

I agree. It may be slower, but cocking a hammer can be easier on the hands than pulling a double action trigger.

:smilelol5: Thanks MoJo but I am quite happy with the 12 rounds I have in the picture there. Obviously I was incorrect about no one making 5 round strips and I appreciate you bringing that to my attention. :thumbs2:
