I finally found a use for my el-cheapo psuedo-Aimpoint red dot sight.

One Remington 870
+
One Aimtech rail system for 870 for around $30
+
One $90 Bluering red dot scope
= not too bad of a HD shotgun.

The knoxx stock is of course optional. ;-)

On with the pics.

This is what it looks like.

Works like the Aimpoint Comp M that I have on my AR, but It sure doesn't have the Aimpoint quality.

There is just enough space for you to use your iron sights in case your optics failed.

Couple of candid shots.

I put the same thing on my Mossberg 500.

I think I am going to switch to a reflex sight.

I bought it with an AR15 several years ago from Prodefense in Webster, Texas.
I've just checked and prices have definitely gone up. They are no longer $90. lol.

But there are other alternatives out there.

I'm going to invest in a Surefire forend or some alternative when funding permits. Then my HD shotgun is complete. I figure the red dot helps me brings the gun on target in a hurry. Hehe.
