3 interesting conversations today

I had three very interesting conversations today with friends in different parts of the country. One guy was out shopping for a Remington 870 to buy today or tomorrow. His wife gave him the green light after the developments of the past few days. The other I sent a text to and told her she might want to go pick up a 13 round magazine for her handgun while she could. She did. That friend (who is rather new to firearms) ended up having a long conversation with me and is trying to decide if she wants to buy a shotgun or an AR now. I think budget will push her to a shotgun. The third simply told me that her hubby come home with an AR and 5 30 round PMAGs today.
I mention this because none of these friends would be considered gun nuts or even enthusiasts and yet they are all buying guns likely before the weekend is over (assuming they can find them).

I wish I ran into people like that. My brother and I just had a very long conversation. He is now in favor of strict gun laws, and wants everyone to only be allowed to own single shot weapons. My wife was talking to some women at my kid's school, and they can't believe there are no metal detectors there. I cannot believe how naive people are.

AEA, sorry about that, I see it is clearly stated in the rules. Fixed.

Thanks.
I am not a Mod so it is really none of my business, but you being fairly new, I thought I would put you on the right track before one of the Mods actually deleted your signature lines completely.
Enjoy the site!

You see that? An average citizen, untrained in mod tactics, CAN stop a mass signature liner.
