Galveston members; I need a favor please-Done

I have a bit of a problem. I ordered some reloading equipment from Amazon a few weeks back and was expecting delivery before I left town on Friday the 21st. Well, the seller dragged their feet shipping the item and got closer and closer to my departure date. It was sent via USPS, so I figured I would hold my mail for the days I would be out of town in case it got here late. My mail usually arrives between noon-1:30pm, so I did not hold my mail for the 21st. Guess what, USPS tracking confirms delivery 3:30pm on the 21st, 1 hour after I left town. So now this package will be sitting on my porch till Jan 2nd when I get back to town. Would anyone be willing to rescue it from my porch and hold on to it till I get back to town? PM me if you wouldn't mind helping me out. Thanks!

Ouch! It's been there since the 21st already? I hope it's still there. I'll see if any of my friends are in Galveston at the moment.

EDIT: It doesn't look like it. Good luck! I PM'ed you with a list of users who might be able to help you out.

A forum member has offered to help me out, thank you SeamusTX and Merry Christmas! There are so many great people on this forum who will offer their help in a moment of need. I am grateful for my extended Texas CHL Forum family.

Done.

BTW, I live less than a mile from Lonest4r on the same street.

Merry Christmas, everyone.

Glad to hear it wasn't stolen! With so many people stealing packages this time of year...
At least you both know a good neighbor now.

I already knew Lonest4r. We are members of the same gun club.

Some years ago you couldn't leave anything out here for a minute. We had our trash cans stolen once. But the situation has improved. I've found stuff on the front porch in the morning that UPS or Fedex apparently left late in the evening, which no one touched.

Maybe my reputation as a cantankerous old bar steward helps.
