Senator Dianne Feinstein,

I will not register my weapons should this bill be passed, as I do not believe it is the government's right to know what I own. Nor do I think it prudent to tell you what I own so that it may be taken from me by a group of people who enjoy armed protection yet decry me having the same a crime. You ma'am have overstepped a line that is not your domain. I am a Marine Corps Veteran of 8 years, and I will not have some woman who proclaims the evil of an inanimate object, yet carries one, tell me I may not have one.

I am not your subject. I am the man who keeps you free. I am not your servant. I am the person whom you serve. I am not your peasant. I am the flesh and blood of America.
I am the man who fought for my country. I am the man who learned. I am an American. You will not tell me that I must register my semi-automatic AR-15 because of the actions of some evil man.

I will not be disarmed to suit the fear that has been established by the media and your misinformation campaign against the American public.

We, the people, deserve better than you.

Well, there's definitely some grammatical issues with his words. I'm not saying to literally copy what he says, but the gist is accurate :)

We are in agreement regarding the gist, but point isn't one of grammar...

I already sent that wretch of a politician an email. Of course, I got the generic "you aren't one of my constituents so what you say is worthless" automated replies. I'm sure she can guess when they come in from places like Texas that most of them aren't going to be all smiles and gumdrops and shiny rainbows for her little gun-grabber junk scheme.

The last time the congress passed an "Assault weapon ban" it resulted in the house flipping from democrat to republican rule for the first time in 30 years.
I doubt that any of the pols have forgotten that.
They may not remember much - but they remember losing their own power.

They won't fear it this time, because most Dem districts are 'flip proof" and this bill is meant to be permanent, no sunset. The damage, like Obamacare, will be forever (unless GOP takes supermajority in the imaginary future)

I realize many watch and listen to pm, I'm not one of them. So, for me, inserting his name is meaningless.

Yes, I appreciate we can't ignore those (I tire of terms like gun grabbers or antis - we need to come up with something less petulant sounding) who rail against those of us who believe in armed self-defense, but I can't bring myself to listen to them.

I can't bother to get worked up as a constant response to those with a public microphone - so pm and his like don't have much impact on those like me. The same goes for those overly enthusiastic pro-folk (if you will) with a public microphone.

I've heard enough bombast from both sides. I generally listened, watched, or read them in the past, but no more. I have rant fatigue...

If I'm to switch on an electronic device it'll be an audio book or a movie.
