John,
I shall be donating to any TEA Party candidate that looks to unseat you next election. I shall also campaign AGAINST you next election to ENSURE that you lose your job for your SELLOUT to the American People last night.
You are the reason why this country faces the steadfast decline it does. People who sellout politically instead of DEFENDING THE CONSTITUTION as your OATH DICTATES!
Thank you for STEALING my hard earned money. Thank you for raising my taxes. Thank you for showing your true colors, RINO!
Hutchison would be getting this too, if she wasn't a Lame Duck. She did exactly as I expected her to, however.
I hope you regret this vote, personally, and truly. You have shown Texas you are not trustworthy, and do not deserve the title you claim, Senator!
Yours truly,

You should look at his FB page. He is getting roasted!
He is up for re-election in Nov 2014. Most any Tea Party Candidate will do!
Cruz is saying all the right things so he will bare watching.

I was referring to the comments people are making on anything he says, or any article he posts on FB.

I told him long ago he would loose his job when he did NOTHING to block the appointment of Eric Holder as AG.
And look at the mess that turned into!

To the confused - he voted for the fiscal cliff bill that was then crammed down the house's throat.

I sent him an e-mail, too. It said:
1. Take me off your mailing lists. I'm no longer interested in anything that you have to say
2. You no longer represent me or the people of Texas. You have proved yourself a shill for the lobby groups who received favoritism in the fiscal cliff bill.
3. Your vote on fiscal cliff bill is an insult to all Conservatives. Please don't ever represent yourself as a Conservative again.

I confess that my concerns aren't as varied as many here, nor am I as well informed. I've resorted to only reading local TV news sites daily.
I have stated several times that I am and have been for years, a one issue voter. If a politician staunchly defends the Second Amendment, little else matters to me.
Come election time, only if two candidates appear equal on the Second Amendment do I even consider anything else.
Consequently, I was hurriedly searching for any conciliatory comments he made similar to Hutchinson's post-Newtown wavering.

This is what happens when we stopped electing conservatives and started electing neo-cons. By the same token, we've also stopped electing liberals and have started electing authoritarians.

You'd think Cornyn would've gotten the message when Dewhurst fell.
I see very little chance of Cornyn holding onto his seat. Cruz is likely to get a lot of free dinners in the next two years from Tea Partiers seeking an endorsement.

The problem is that once they start down the slippery slope of selling out, there is no bottom. You either vote your values or your don't. This time, he sold out on raising taxes and cutting spending. I think that the pressure to pass a gun ban of some sort is going to be tremendous, perhaps even more than on this fiscal cliff. If it passes the Senate, the pressure will mount on the House just like the cliff bill and we will have Fiscal Cliff Abdication 2.0
Lt. Governor Dewhurst lost his bid for the Cruz Senate seat because the Texas voters punished him for is part in the less-than-Conservative outcome of the 2011 Legislative session. He says he got the message. What I'm hoping is that Senator Cornyn, with a huge wave of negative feedback from voters threatening a Dewhurst-like repeat will muster the spine needed to not support a gun bill. In fact, I'm hoping that the wave of negative reaction on all the GOP members of both houses causes them the rethink their stupidity.

Bill Flores - my district 17 rep, did it right.
He ran a poll on his site for constituents and factored that largely into his vote. In a WTAW interview, he said ultimately it is "our" vote.
I'm hopeful for Ted Cruz too.

schills, schills,.....and sadly more schills.
They are ALWAYS focused on the NEXT ELECTION......NOT their oath to uphold the U.S. Constitution.
Perhaps they are too well paid ...????
