Uberti Arms .38 special lever action question

Curiousity has me.
in my family, we have a .38 special Uberti Arms "Yellow Boy" series # 4315.
I do not have the gun with me, so I can't post pics, nor can I inspect the gun currently to see if there are any other markings on it.

I can say that the gun, last I saw it, 30 years ago, was in great condition, and I can only hope it still is.

What I am trying to find out, is how old is it?
And of course, and NO it is NOT for sale, how much it is really worth.

I see that a new Yellow Boy is about $1100 or so, but an older one, well, who knows, right?

Thank you for any info

Here is one that was auctioned last year. I did not register so I can't see the selling price. http://www.liveauctioneers.com/item/127 ... boy-38-spl" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

This was their estimate of it's value for the sale:
Estimate $675 - $775
Starting Bid $170

I may be jumping to conclusions, but based on this, I would think that older models, unless it is a unique rifle with appeal to a collector, would sell for less than a new one.
