Have you done any testing with the new Hornady TAP (the ones with the black cases)? If not are there any plane to do so?

Hello. No, sir, I have not done so...yet. I will get around to it, but have several irons in the fire. From what I've seen and read, the primary difference is the case. I was told by Hornady a few months back that the XTP bullet in the 9mm is precisely the same as in their other "Custom" line of ammunition. The Custom and "old" TAP in 9mm that I tried were equivalent insofar as I could tell: accurate, reliable, and with the bullet going to the usual 1.5 x original diameter. I really like the XTP bullet, though I think I'm in the minority on that. I will do the TAP when I can. Part of the problem is that the last gun store in my city closed and I'm not a big one for driving when I can avoid it. I also have to buy my own ammunition 99% of the time
and have to have the spare sheckels to spend.
Best and take care.
