I Propose an Assault Speech Ban

I propose an Assault Speech Ban.
Our founding fathers intended the First Amendment to apply the written word and verbal speech. It was never meant to be used with modern technologies like radio, television and the internet. Nobody needs more than a poster and a street corner to exercise their rights to free speech.
Only official government news outlets should use radio, televisions and internet sites. Anyone else who wants to utilize modern technology for free speech should have a background check performed and be registered in a national free speech technology database. Moreover they must be limited to 10 minutes or less of air time. Any longer than that and you will have mentally ill people like the Westboro Baptist Church assaulting mass audiences with their hate speech. Besides, nobody needs more than 10 minutes to make their point. We must to do all we can to keep dangerous speech off our streets and away from our children.
