Today was a normal day for me. Quietly toiling at my keyboard and phone.
Then I met my wife for a late lunch. She has the day off today, for the holiday. Lucky gal.
As we sat down to eat she said "Have you been watching the inauguration".
Lunch wasn't quite the same after that.

Tomorrow morning, I'll raise my American flag to full staff. Today, it flew at half.
I was afraid to watch the coronation today. There is always some fool out there that will break the spell and tell the emperor that he is buck nakid.

I'm really not trying to berate anyone specifically, but this is just another example about what I posted about here:

Doing a simple 30 second Google search to see if this quote is fact or fiction shows that it is fiction:

Please take my posting as just trying to save people from blindingly reposting these quotes on facebook or wherever else and getting beaten down by the libs for posting what is so easily proven as non-sense. Just properly attribute the quote and we are all good. It's the mis-attribution that makes it sensationalistic.
Again, we have to set our bar higher so that we are above reproach.

Fine, then Justice Millard Caldwell of the Florida Supreme Court was a dang genius. Doesn't change a thing.
I haven't seen 15 seconds of TV coverage on the coronation, not even 5 seconds. I spent the day sitting in my wife's CHL renewal class with her. It was a much better way to pass the day, and did more honor to America's traditions and history than any 20 Obama swearings in.
