It didn't take him long...

From the first minute of today's inaugural address:
“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness.”
Today we continue a never-ending journey, to bridge the meaning of those words with the realities of our time. For history tells us that while these truths may be self-evident, they have never been self-executing; that while freedom is a gift from God, it must be secured by His people here on Earth. The patriots of 1776 did not fight to replace the tyranny of a king with the privileges of a few or the rule of a mob. They gave to us a Republic, a government of, and by, and for the people, entrusting each generation to keep safe our founding creed.
I find the highlighted sentence incredibly disturbing. Seems he's not afraid to state that the Constitution and it's Bill of Rights do not apply verbatim to today's world, and he's taking it upon himself to address it.

Yeah, what a tool. Standing there with his hand on a bible, swearing to uphold and protect the constitution, then going back inside to find a way to tear it up.
What bothers me the most is that he does not think (feel) what he is doing is wrong.

Yeah ... which truth is no longer self-evident that we have a right to?
the life one? Abortion and disarmament like in Nazi Germany/ China etc.....
or the liberty one? Fema camps and govt ammo purchases?
I enjoyed years ago when my niece said Bible is old fashioned, times are different and I showed her all the things were the same as they were thousands of years ago. She's older now and understands better.
I'm not watching it, so just goin' on what you said.

The whole speech is a sick joke. It's so far from the reality of the man that it's actually funny. This criminal doesn't care about the law or the Constitution and has frequently demonstrated that fact over the last four years. I don't see how anyone here can possibly take this phony speech seriously.

I am so disgusted with the U.S. electorate that I find myself without words.
If there is any consolation to be had it will only be realized when this dictator gets around to infringing upon on one of THEIR precious constitutionally secured rights.
