So if you use Intuit to process credit card transactions for your range or any firearms related business, you will be shut out. This is getting ugly.

I'm sure they are also refusing to process accounts that sell automobiles, alcohol, or hammers since each of those items are responsible for more deaths every year than firearms. :totap:

I just terminated my Intuit merchant processing account a few months ago for unrelated reasons (too expensive). Now, maybe I have a reason to transfer my business accounting to another service than QBO.

300 million guns in 100 million homes.
Does the saying "cut off your nose to spite your face" come to mind for anyone else hearing this stuff?

Use PAI. They're very gun friendly with great rates.

I've warned people about using Intuit (and the "Square" reader) on other forums.

If you want to make everything complete, be sure to stop using TurboTax and QuickBooks as well.

I use TurboTax. What do you recommend?

Can you provide a link for PAI? (Or PM it to me?)

Also, what is wrong with Square? I've used it for my other (non-firearm related) business for over a year with no problems.....

Same here. I've been using Turbo Tax for the last few years with no issues. Do you have an alternative?

With QBO it is VERY hard to export any data you want to keep
Last I checked there is no way to for example export it in a format that can be moved to another platform

What about exporting it as a Quickbooks archive of some sort, and then using a software package that will allow you to import the Quickbooks data in its Quickbooks native format?
