Do they work and conceal well?

Im a very skinny guy with a unique style of dress... I like to wear smaller fitting shirts but will dress accordingly once I get my CHL.

I have a Crossbreed Supertuck(IWB) and a Crossbreed Snapslide(OWB)
Both are leather backing with kydex and hold the weapons great, with very good retention.

I also just bought a White Hat holster (Snapslide)(OWB) and it holds just as nice as the Crossbreed, for 1/2 the price and delivered in 2 weeks or so.

Whatever holster you end up going with, you need to be sure you have a REAL gun belt, not a "thick leather stiff belt from any local store you can think of"

I would guess that most of us CHL's started off with a good holster and terrible belt, thinking "wow, I don't want to spend $50 or $100 or whatever on your preferencial belt, but in the end, for proper concealment, we all probably went and bought it.
They DO WORK.

By the way, I carry full size M&P 45 and at times full size M&P 9, and both just mold to my body and hide very nicely with either holster and with a good gun belt.

For $30 they are GREAT!
My first belt was a Crossbreed belt, really not much but thick leather, and the weapon/holster wanted to flop away from the body - and for $90
WIth my Blackhawk belt, very good stiffness, and the holster stays straight up and doesn't flop over.

No matter your size, your dress will have to change when you carry. At least to some extent anyway. I ahve never been skinny so no advie there, but when you adjust your dress and buy a good holster and belt carrying will be much easier. BTW, my advice is to buy a good belt (or two) and buy the best holster possible. If you start buying cheap holsters, buy the time you get a good one you will have spent what a good holster costs. A good quality gunbelt plus a crummy holster will conceal better and be more comfortable that a crummy belt and a great holster. The gunbelt is more important than the holster, in my opinion.

That said, the Crossbreed Supertuck is a terrific holster. I like mine almost as much as my Comp-Tac Minotaur.

Love my Crossbreed Super tuck. Just got a Raven concealment holster and love it too. I need a better belt!!!

The answer to your question: Yes, Crossbreed Holsters are all they claim to be. You'd be hardpressed to find an owner who regrets their purchase because the product didn't perform as claimed.

There are many acceptable copy cats that will perform just as well and probably ship quicker. I chose to go with the original because of their customer service and business ethic. I have no regrets.

If you get one, you won't be dissatisfied, UNLESS you don't couple it with a good gun belt!!!

X 2, get the horsehide

I've had my crossbreed supertuck for my Glock 19 since the end of december. Its worked great so far. You do have to be careful with in untucked shirt because if it rides up it can get caught on the handle instead of just riding back down. A quick tug before anyone notices will clear it up but I was outed by an observant friend just last week because that happened. So tight fitting clothes can be an issue. Make sure its long enough to keep you covered or long enough to stay tucked in good.

I paid the extra for the horsehide, its really nice.
