I actually "spoke with" a well-noted gun magazine writer on Facebook and he checked into it for me. He shortly after posted explaining that it was indeed not true.

Soros may be driven by some warped elitist views, but he is more driven by MONEY, and will not do anything that would cause him to lose any of his own.....
