I'd love to have an opportunity to take a 1000 yd shot.

Used to shoot long range, up to and including 1000 yards. Not that I was any good, but it was fun.

Every day I'm on this side of the ground is a good day.

I bet he felt like he was a kid all over again and had a smile ear to ear for the day.

I think it's cool that other people see opportunities to recognize those that came before us.
