Anybody know any place that sales a variety of holsters in Houston or close to Houston? Need a holster for concealment for a Springfield XD sub-compact. Thanks!

PRODFENSE in the mall at the southwest corner of I-45 and NASA Road 1 has a lot of holsters and similar gear, more than I've seen anywhere else. Telephone 888-529-4327.

I just called them, but they have no holsters for my type of pistol any other stores?

Sorry. I live a long way from Houston and that's the only store I know that caters to LEOs.

Have you looked on eBay and AuctionArms? They have a fair number of holsters.

You might check with Central Police Supply.

They are located on the NE corner of Houston Ave. and Washington, behind the main police station.

Central Police Supply Inc
1410 Washington Avenue
Houston, TX 77002
713-225-4392

Also, Sportsmans Outlet in Humble has a fair selection of mainly Comp-tac holsters.

Sportsman's Outlet Indoor Shooting Center
1710 Fm 1960 By-Pass Road East
Humble, TX 77338
281-540-1160

The 59 Gun Range used to be a stocking dealer for Hoffners. I haven't been in there for a while.

59 Gun Range Inc
11325 Eastex Freeway
Houston, TX 77093
281-449-6063

Shooter's Station in Conroe has a good stock of Tucker products in stock.

Shooter's Station
13748 Highway 105 West
Conroe, TX 77304
936-588-3333

I've noticed that the Carter Country stores are carrying a few Comp-Tac's.

Good luck,

Hey,

I'd be interested to hear what you come up with in Houston. I live near FM 1960 & FM 249. And, I've seriously been looking at the XD sub-compacts. I'll have to get a holster as well. I prefer OWB holsters. I'm having a hard time making my mind up between the 9 and the 40. How do you like yours?

I love my Springfield at first I wasn't to impressed but after a couple hundred rounds. It was pretty accurate...you can't go wrong.

Jim Pruett's Guns and Ammo and 10Ring are both in the 1960/249 area and carry various holsters. You can search for them here or online as they both have been mentioned here and have web pages.

I'll cast another vote for Operator's Edge. He's got a lot of equipment in the store, very pleasant to visit with.

Mr. Potter, check your email for a message from me, let me know if it went through. If not, I'll PM the message.
