Midway Donates $1 Million to NRA/ILA

Midway USA announced today that they have exceeded one million active customers. To celebrate, they've donated one million dollars to the NRA/ILA National Endowment.
Here's an excerpt of the email received today:

As you might imagine, we gave quite a bit of thought as to how we could celebrate. Should we choose our one millionth active Customer and give he or she a special gift? Well, we could have done that, but all of our Customers are equally important, not just the one who put us over the top. Then someone came up with the idea that we should donate $1 to the NRA for each of our active Customers. Well, let's see, what is $1 times one million?
And so it was! On Monday morning about 10am, when we went over one million active Customers, MidwayUSA authorized our bank to send a wire transfer of one million dollars to the NRA/ILA National Endowment for the Protection of the 2nd Amendment; because we can and because we should.

Larry Potterfield is a upstanding guy when it comes to his love and support of the shooting sports. Sure he runs a business that relies on these customers, but he gives back. I have a friend who works there and she says he is just an all around great person as well as the big boss.

They are great to do business with. When something is backordered they don't hype the price higher when it comes in. When you check out you can round up to the nearest dollar with an NRA donation. Very ethical company to do business with. My first choice on mailorder.

This! Not only are they competitive with their pricing but they understand that 2A is a pseudo religion. You don't need to gouge the parishioners when there is a bit of a tough spot. I have always liked Midway. Their conduct during this last political flare up makes me love them.

Midway rocks. Larry Potterfield is running a great company. I have nothing but positive things to say about them. Their prices are fair (even after the craziness) and they have super fast shipping as well as great customer service. They have a loyal customer for life right here.
