According to the latest pictures we have seen, you have your rear sighting device on backwards.

This is a nice setup. Battle rifle would nice for long range shooting, I mean if you are from mountain to mountain, in a Desert, in urban area, a mid caliber 7.62x39 or small caliber would capable and have the 100 yrd reach you want. As for new body armor, Russians have AP ammo for their GI.
